Ugly update

This app has an ugly interface. Something I really like about uworld is that they replicate the look and feel of the test very well, so that I feel right at home on test day. This update is a definite step backwards.

Super useful

I wonder if the app had recent updates because the current layout is very user-friendly despite what other reviewers have written. IPads were made for how convenient they are and this app is just that: extremely convenient to squeeze in a review session on the go or lying in bed. Other users were correct in noting the display is not like the desktop version, but highlight, note-writing, flagging is all there and it syncs to your desktop....plus its free.

Hate it

Hate it. Why am i forced to use this version?? Cant see test numbers. Cant see whetehr they are flagged in the list view-sorted voew

Didnt like the new version

Just didnt like the new version, please bring back the old version.

Budget cuts?

I mean honestly what happened? Cause this format constricts the screen, is rather mundane, and honestly looks like something a college kid would have made (in his freshman year!) not cool

Absolutely hate it!

This app is horrible! Please bring back the original version which was actually just like the desktop version but this app definitely looks like something a kid made!! So annoyed by this app.

Uworld downgrade

Does not feel like practicing the real exam anymore. Please bring back old interface. Not worth the $$$ anymore. Usmlerx is better than this.

Dont like this new version

I preferred how the older version would have the timer start anew every time you restarted a suspended exam so that I knew how much time elapsed during that session as opposed to the total time it takes me to finish all the questions in that question block. :( -I also do not like how on my iPad the buttons to navigate the questions are on the left-hand side as opposed to how it was originally being at the top Please fix :(

Bring back old version!

UWorld is great but the new update is definitely a downgrade of the original version.

Giant Leap Backwards

Everything about this new user interface is infuriating. Toolbars take up space, buttons in new places, clunkier loading, ugly color scheme, and a huge departure from mimicking the NBME. Listen to your customers and change it back to the original!

Love it!

Finally! Updated to look like the desktop version to resemble to the actual test interface. Great job guys.

Take it back

Please take it back to how it was before!!! It was much more friendly and looked simpler and nicer!

Looking good

Looks way better with the dark blue and the words actually taking up the width of the screen. Thanks guys.

Finally

This app is finally perfect in terms of functionality. Thank you for updating the test interface to resemble the real thing - it really helps to study using the exact same interface as the real exam so that you feel familiar on test day. Also, thanks for finally updating the app to work on the iPad Pro - the app now works beautifully with all the features of the new iPad. You guys nailed it, so please dont change a thing!

Old format better

The old format was cleaner, more eye pleasing with the colors! Bring it back!

Love the app but blue headers are burning my retina.

The blue bars on top and bottom are too distracting wish they used a different color palate like the color before or a softer color and they are too wide. The bars are good for test mode but I wish you can autohide them in tutor mode. It would be great if users had an option in the format styles we can select. Great job overall uworld team but plz work on it some more. Thanks!

Terrible interface change, needs option for old interface

The old interface was great. They just updated the app and now the interface is embarrassing. If the developers want to unify the different OS clients and make the iOS interface look like the real testing interface, at least make an option to display the old touch-friendly layout. That layout was designed the way it was for a reason: people are holding the device in their hands and there is no mouse or keyboard! The current desktop-type interface is not friendly to use on a tablet. Uworld, think about it: doing problems on an iPad is not anywhere near the same thing as simulating the testing experience. If I want to simulate the testing environment, I will go use a desktop computer with mouse. If I want to kick back and do some problems, Im going to use the iPad version. By putting the "next problem" button in the middle top of the screen, you have to reach over the whole iPad to get the next problem. You cant do that one-handed, and its just a terrible design for a touch interface. Its also super ugly! Your own previous design was great! Bring back he touch-friendly iOS interface!
